Early Vote Day 12: Columbus votes continue to climb



More voters in Columbus, Ohio continue bracing the cold weather to line up at the Early Vote center as the combined number of votes which include in person votes and returned absentee ballots climbed up from 105, 657 to 122,543 on Day 12.
 
This represents about 14.59 percent of the 839,358 registered voters in Columbus, Ohio.

With 10 days to the November 8, 2016 Presidential Election the Franklin County Election Board, Columbus, Ohio has recorded a total of 94,872 returned absentee ballots of 172,644 requested for and 27,671 in person votes.

Every day of this week has witnessed an increase compared to same day last week with Monday, October 21 recording 3,273 against 2,285 of last Monday; Tuesday 3,062 to 2036 and Wednesday 3,092 against last Wednesday's 1,960.

A breakdown of voters and returned absentee ballots made available to TheNewAmericans shows that the Unaffiliated have returned 37,403 of the 79,162; Green Party returned 109 of 189; Libertarian returned 50 of 108; Republican returned 24,699 of 46,597 and Democrat returned 32,611 of 46,618.
