The first weekend of voting witnessed an impressive turnout Saturday, October 29 at the Franklin Early Vote Center, Columbus, Ohio as total combined votes and absentee returned ballots now moved up to 150, 633 on Day 14.
With 11days to the Tuesday, November 8, 2016 Presidential Election, ths represents about 17.94 percent of the 839,358
registered voters in Columbus, Ohio.
The Franklin County Election Board, Columbus, Ohio has
recorded a total of 115,977 returned absentee ballots of 184,336 requested for
and 34,656 in person votes.
Turn out this week has remained high with Monday, October
21 recording 3,273 against 2,285 of last Monday; Tuesday 3,062 to 2036; Wednesday
3,092 against last Wednesday's 1,960; Thursday 3,051 to 2,124; and Friday 3,933
to last Friday’s 2,804.
A breakdown of voters and returned absentee ballots made
available to TheNewAmericans
shows that the Unaffiliated have returned 46,998 of the 85,449; Green
Party returned 127 of 198; Libertarian returned 65 of 111; Republican returned 30,088
of 48,422 and Democrat returned 38,699 of 50,156.
Voting at the Morse Road, Columbus, Ohio Early Vote
center will now be every day, including Saturday and Sunday, till Tuesday,
November 8.
