Texas-based NXT Pay eyes Africa

A Texas-based company, NXT Pay is planning to introduce an electronic consumer transaction technology, which serves as mobile wallet, that will bring radical change in Africa's most populous country, Nigeria. 

The Chairman of NXT Pay, Okey Okafor said “most Nigerians conduct their day-to-day transactions with cash, while small percentage using debit "ATM" cards issued by their banks.
According to him, “to understand how difficulty the challenges facing NXT Pay, the parent company, NxtSolution Group Inc., intends to hire more than 5,800 Nigerians in the first year. 

The job will be to train and dispatch them to educate vendors and consumers about the benefit of NXT Pay program. 

"We are very confident and optimistic that turning Nigeria into cashless system will create radical shift from current system," Mr. Okey Oba Okafor said.
