With the highest recorded single day votes of 6,303 in
four years of in-person votes at the Columbus, Ohio Early Vote center Thursday,
November 3 the 2016 Presidential Election may today Friday, November 4 surpass
the total early votes cast in the 2012 Presidential Election.
The highest single day votes cast in the 2012
Presidential Election was 5,575 votes on a Friday, November 4.
Total in-person votes cast in Columbus as at close time
Thursday November 3 stood at 62,224 with a difference of 6,497 votes of the
total in-person votes cast at the same center in the 2012 Presidential
Election.
Also, 180,654 of
the 216,645 requested absentee ballots have been mailed back to the Franklin
County Board of Election early vote center.
The combined total votes cast of returned mailed absentee
ballots and in-person votes, now moved up to 242,878 with four days to the
Tuesday, November 8 Presidential Election.
This represents about 28.93 percent of the 839,358
registered voters in Columbus, Ohio.
A breakdown of voters and the returned mailed absentee
ballots made available to TheNewAmericans shows that the Unaffiliated have returned 78,897
of the 101,812; Green Party returned 177 of 219; Libertarian returned 101 of
120; Republican returned 44,951 of 52,930 and Democrat returned 56,528 of 61,564.
Voting at the Morse Road, Columbus, Ohio Early Vote
center is every day, including Saturday, November 5 and Sunday, November 6 till
Monday, November 7. All polling stations will open on Tuesday, November 8.
