Group seeks inclusive government in Somalia

Yarow Aden

As the newly elected President of Somalia, Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed settles down in office, the Chairman of the Wagosha Movement of Somalia, Yarow Aden has called for an all-inclusive government that will have all regions in the country represented.

Yarow Aden who spoke to TheNewAmericans in a conference call with Somalians of Bantu extract in Columbus, Ohio said that “the present government is not inclusive. We want the international communities to look into this critically.”

“We believe that the USA and the international community can help in putting pressure on Somali regional states and the government of the Federal Republic of Somalia to change their apartheid and exclusion policies, which can take back the country to chaos and civil war.”

According to him, “our community is one of the largest in Somalia, but is being marginalized by their fellow Somalis. The Somali African Bantu Community always maintained that Somalia is a pure African country that has to live in peace, harmony and cooperation with its neighbours and the rest of the world.”
