CMAX Bus Rapid Transit launches with free fares Jan. 1 - 7



CMAX Bus Rapid Transit, the Central Ohio Transit Authority’s (COTA )new service along Cleveland Avenue, Columbus, Ohio has launched on Monday, January 1, 2018 offering free fares till Sunday, January 7. 
 
The 15.6 mile CMAX route runs along Cleveland Avenue between downtown Columbus and the Ohio
Health Westerville Medical Campus at Polaris Parkway and Africa Road. 

Also COTA’s new Line 35 Dublin-Granville launched on January 1. Line 35 serves as a crosstown connection in north Columbus, primarily along Dublin Granville Road between Busch Boulevard and COTA’s Easton Transit Center.

The Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA) is the regional public transit provider for Greater Columbus and central Ohio. With a service area of 1.2 million residents, COTA provides more than 18 million passenger trips per year, and employs more than 1,000 people. COTA operates throughout Franklin County, and parts of Delaware, Fairfield, Licking and Union counties.
